Marcella M. Littler
Marcella M. Littler, 94, of Findlay, passed away at 9:19 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
She was born on April 4, 1919 to the late Harley L. and Alice E. (Rosendale) Dennis in Bloomdale, Ohio. On May 1, 1938 she married Richard G. "Dick" Littler and he preceded her in death on February 26, 2006.
She is survived by her children: Linda Elaine Allyn of Findlay; Glenna Eileen (Tom) Cooper of Roswell, New Mexico; John Glenn (Kim) Littler of Findlay; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; and a sister, Harlene (John) Wood of North Baltimore.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Dennis and three brothers, Cloyd Dennis, Verl Dennis and John Dennis.
Marcella was a breast cancer survivor. She was a member of the First Christian Church and WBBCI Carvan Club. She enjoyed exercising and was an avid mall walker at Findlay Village Mall. She was accomplished at the Fabric of Arts, such as, cross stitching, knitting and crocheting.

Barbara H. Meronk (Spana), 77, of Bowling Green, Ohio, died Wednesday evening, February 26, 2014 at Bridge Care Center surrounded by her loving family, Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was born June 3, 1936 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Edward and Marie (Augustowski) Spana. On June 7, 1958 she married the love of her life, the late David B. Meronk.
Barbara, a retired receptionist and secretary, enjoyed donating her time to Saint Aloysius in various capacities throughout the years. She loved to travel, bake, and routinely met with her antique club. Her true joy was spending time and supporting her children and grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by two daughters, Salena (Richard) Meronk-Ornelas and Stephanie (Scott) Cavanaugh, both of Bowling Green; son, David J. (Natalie) Meronk, Findlay, Ohio; sisters, Shirley Osterberg and Gloria Graczyk, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 3rd at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Davis officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Verna Marie (Brossia) Bostdorf, 94, of Perrysburg, Ohio, died Friday, February 21, 2014, at The Manor of Perrysburg.
She was born in Perrysburg on August 7, 1919 to Oliver D. and Elizabeth (Swartzwalter) Brossia.
Verna worked as a cook at Tiedtke's Deli and prior to she drove a fork lift at the Ordnance.
She married her sweetheart, the late George T. Bostdorf on September 6, 1941 and spent 51 wonderful years together.
She was a devoted member of Zoar Lutheran Church and was active in their Young at Hearts program.
Verna is survived by her son, Robert "Bob" Bostdorf; grandchildren, Jenny (Chuck) Bear, Brian (Emily) Bostdorf and Robert Bostdorf Jr.; great-grandchildren, Ben and Will Hepner; brother-in-law, Arthur LaLonde.

Jack Lee Cook, 84, Bowling Green, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
Jack was born on August 21, 1929 in BG to parents Martha (Spaulding) and Alva Cook. Both parents preceded him in death.
Jack was a retired employee of the BGSU Carpentry Dept.
He is survived by his life partner Marion Trettin. He is also survived by daughters, Kathy (Tom) Shapler, BG, Lou Ann (Donald) Horn, Wilmington, OH, Vicky Messer, Ft. Wayne, IN, and Kim (Jim) McArthur, Toledo, OH; one son, Kevin (Kim) Cook, Uniondale, IN. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, David Cook, Maumee, OH, and Jim Cook, who resides in Florida.
Jack was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. He also was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Services will be on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Dunn Funeral Home with visitation at 11 a.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 12 noon.
Memorial contributions can be made to Bridge Home Health & Hospice of Bowling Green, OH in lieu of flowers.

Sue A. Krassow
Sue A. Krassow, 61, of Weston, a loving wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, went to be with the Lord at 3:07 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2014.
She was born on July 30, 1952, in Bowling Green to Charles and Lola (Graham) Spence. She married David L. Krassow Sr. on June 2, 1970, and he survives.
Sue is also survived by her mother, Lola Wilson of Weston; her sons, David Krassow Jr. and Chris Krassow, both of Weston; her daughter, Pam Krassow of Weston; her sister, Donna Coleman of Weston; her beloved grandchildren, Kristen, Zachary (Sara), Courtney, Jasmin, Aubrianna, Jason, Destiny and Jacob; her great-grandchildren, Brysen, Ava and Kennedy; her stepgrandchildren, Faith and Peytonn.
Sue was preceded in death by her father, Charles Spence and her brother, James Spence.
Sue was a homemaker. She enjoyed country music, traveling and camping, but her greatest love and joy in life was her grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special heart-felt thank you to St. Luke's Hospital, Wood County Hospital and Bridge Home Health and Hospice for all of their care and compassion.
