Bertha Jane "BJ" Moser, 80, of Deshler, Ohio died Sunday evening, April 7, 2013 at Briar Hill Health Campus, North Baltimore, Ohio.
She was born August 18, 1932 in Jackson Township, Wood County, Ohio to the late Riley "Dick" and Anna Marie (Bunk) Snyder.
BJ was a 1950 graduate of Jackson Township High School and received her Cosmetology license in 1951 from Warner School of Cosmetology, Toledo.
She retired in 1997 as payroll/benefits clerk for Claude Sintz, Inc. after 19 years. She previously worked at Napco Plastics, Napoleon, for 11 years and RCA, Findlay, Ohio. She was co-owner of The Twins Beauty Box, Van Buren, Ohio and worked at Monty's Beauty Salon, Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was a member of Westhope Bible Church.
BJ is survived by three sons, Richard (Sue) Moser, Stryker, Ohio; Dennis (Kay) Moser, Napoleon, Ohio; Gary (Deborah) Moser, Deshler; five grandchildren, Amy (Steve) Drewes; Bobbi (Leighton) Mullins; Jennifer Conners; Mitchell Moser; Aaron Moser; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Renfer, Deshler; and twin sister, Virginia (Harold) Wright, North Baltimore, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Snyder and Riley Snyder.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, with Pastor Gene Wyse officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to Westhope Bible Church or American Cancer Society.
