Barbara J. Taylor, 85, of Haines City, Florida and formerly of Walbridge, died March 1, 2014 at Heart of
Florida Hospital in Haines City.
She was born on October 27, 1928 to Claude (Dorothy Christiansen) Sherer.
Barbara was employed with Ambassador Cards, retiring in 1990.
She is survived by her children: Sharon (Dean) Willard, Jerry (Rebecca) Taylor, Jackie (James) Rice,
William G. Taylor, James (Rebecca) Taylor; stepchildren: Allan (Vickie) Taylor, Jayne (Ken) Youster;
many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Sister of Norma (Robert)
Carsten, Larry (Karen) Sherer, sister-in-law of Elva Taylor, Charlotte Everhardt, Gene Herrick, Robert
Taylor, Chuck (June) Taylor, Pete (Betsy) Taylor, and Trish (The late Butch) Taylor. Florida family:
Diane, Anita, Neve, Jen.
She was preceded in death by her husbands James P. Taylor and William F. Taylor; stepson William L.
Taylor; brother John Sherer; sister Elaine Kachmarik; sisters-in-law Phyllis Mullins, Daisy Garwacki
Marilyn Sherer, and Virginia Taylor; brother-in law Robert Kachmarik, and William Taylor; along with
grandson James Rice.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701
N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) where funeral services will be Saturday, March 8, 2014
at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
Mom loved all and was loved by all.
