Obituary-Photo-ChamberlianBarbara Joyce Chamberlain, 80, of Custar, Ohio passed away, Thursday, November 29, 2012.
Barbara was born in Bloom Township, Ohio to the late George and Florence (Oxenrider) Wright. She married David Chamberlain on January 30, 1955, and he survives after 57 years of marriage in Custar, Ohio.
Barbara retired from the Custar Bank after 29 years of serving as an assistant cashier.
She was a member of the Custar United Methodist Church; Mental Progress Circle and the Norcross-Meyers American Legion Auxiliary.
Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed attending all sporting events of her grandchildren.
Along with her husband David, Barbara is survived by two daughters: Beth (Ronald) Nagel of Custar, Ohio; Sue (Jeff) Dauer, of Bowling Green, Ohio; two sons: Robert Chamberlain of Custar, Ohio; Richard (Sonja) Chamberlain of Bowling Green, Ohio; a sister: Evelyn Current of Jerry City, Ohio; four brothers: Gene Wright of Deshler, Ohio; Gerald Wright of North Baltimore, Ohio; Joe Wright, of Cygnet, Ohio; Ralph Wright of Florida; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Diehl.
Visitation for Barbara will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 West Wooster Street/P.O. Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402, Tele: 419-352-2171. Funeral Services for Barbara will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME REMEMBRANCE CHAPEL. Interment will follow in the Milton Township Cemetery, Custar, Ohio.
Memorial Contributions may be gifted in Barbara's honor to either the Alzheimer's Association, 2500 North Reynolds Road, Toledo, Ohio 43615; American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Drive, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551; Bridge Hospice, 1037 Conneaut Avenue, Suite 204, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 or to the Custar United Methodist Church, 9096 Custar Road, Custar, Ohio 43511.

Sorry to hear of the death of Barb. I am sure her and mom are doing alot of catching up in Heaven. Probably had a Brownie Troop Committe Meeting!

Barb was a generous and caring person, who always volunteered to assist in getting me to band practices and events, when our own family events made it too difficult for me to attend. Thank you Barb, and I am so sorry for the loss to the family. She will be missed,I am sure. Paula Fintel-Cole
