Allen Leroy Etzler, 71, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Bowling
Green.He was born October 17, 1942 in Van Wert County, Ohio to Arthur and Norma (Muntzinger) Etzler.Allen
married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Kreischer on June 8, 1963 and she survives in Bowling Green.He
graduated from Wren High School in 1960 and then went on to attend Tri-State University.He was a member of
Peace Lutheran Church in Berne, Indiana, where he served as a church elder.Along with his wife, Nancy, Allen
is survived by his son, Brad Etzler of Bowling Green, Ohio, daughter, Lori (Mike) Brim of Bowling Green,
Ohio and grandson, Mychal Brim of Bowling Green, Ohio.Allen became a journeyman Tool & Die Maker for
CTS of Berne, Indiana in 1966. He was transferred to CTS of West Liberty, Ohio in 1974, to head their
Engineering and Tool & Die Department. He was transferred to CTS Keene of Paso Robles, California in
1982. He later returned to CTS of Berne, Indiana in 1985 where he retired after more than 30 years of
service with the company. He holds numerous patents.He was an avid Lake Erie fisherman. He spent years out
on the lake or sitting around a campfire with his children and grandson. He was a devoted family man, his
greatest joy came when he became a grandfather. Allen also enjoyed NASCAR and the Chicago Bears.Services for
Allen will be private.Arrangements are being handled by DUNN FUNERAL HOME, Bowling Green, Ohio located in
the Historical District at 408 W. Wooster St.The family asks that any memorial donations be made in Allen’s
