Albert W. Wagoner, age 82, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 6, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on October 18, 1931 in Pemberville, OH to Lewis and Thelma (Ziegler) Wagoner.
After 31 years he retired on May 31, 2000 as a sanitation engineer from the Perrysburg Sanitation Department.
He was a former member of Pemberville United Methodist Church, Pemberville, a member of NRA and a supporter of the Police Patrolman's Association and Sheriff's Association.
In his spare time he enjoyed going to Cedar Point, fishing, tinkering in his garage and growing a vegetable garden. He loved to share his vegetables with his family, neighbors and friends.
Albert is survived by his brother: Don Wagoner, Perrysburg, nephews: Brian (Tracee) Wagoner of Perrysburg, Mark (Kristi) Wagoner of Batavia, OH, Kris Wagoner of Perrysburg and special cousin: Geraldine McGue of Perrysburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Bob "Jr." Wagoner and sister: Donna Hasapes.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, Ohio, where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Peter Johnston.
Interment will be in Pemberville Cemetery, Pemberville.
There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the Pemberville United Methodist Church immediately following the cemetery committal services.
