Francis and Laura (Strickland) Rood, Bowling Green, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today. They
were married June 21, 1964 at the Church of Christ in Rudolph Ohio. A party was hosted June 15th.
Francis Rood retired from the Air Force (10 years), BG Fire Department (30 years) and Night Security at
Wood County Hospital (10 years). Laura served as shoe clerk before dedicating her time to her children
and grandchildren.
