RUDOLPH - A village boy was injured Sunday after he ran into a roadway and struck a moving vehicle. The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that 8-year-old Martin Rosales was running north across the front yard at 13863 Mermill Road in Liberty Township and was apparently attempting to cross the street when he ran into a 2012 Dodge 1500 driven by Charles Freshcorn, Rudolph, eastbound on Mermill Road. The boy was taken to Wood County Hospital by Weston EMS with incapacitating injuries. He was then transported to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, for treatment. He was in serious condition there on Wednesday, but was not listed as a patient at the hospital this morning. |
