WESTON – Two village-area teens reported missing have been found.
The case remains under investigation.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office says that both Gavin Spilker, 17, and Hanna Poulin, 13, were found safe
over the weekend. The pair had been missing since approximately 11 p.m. on Thursday; the incident was
reported on Friday.
The sheriff’s office announced just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday that Poulin had been recovered safely in
Franklin County, Kansas.
At that time, Spilker, who had reportedly been in that area the previous night, was thought to be headed
to an unknown location in either Colorado or Oregon.
The sheriff’s office announced Spilker was later safely located around 4:45 p.m. Sunday.
Information on where he was found, and other details, were not immediately available.
Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn said this morning that the incident has been forwarded to the Juvenile
Prosecutor’s Office to determine if any charges are to be filed.
