Weston man arrested for making threats PDF Print E-mail

A 19-year-old Weston man was arrested Friday for making threats about a Springfield High School event.
Joseph L.H. Taylor, a Springfield student who attends Penta Career Center, threatened to harm people at Springfield, according to a press release by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrested him on Friday.
The threats were reportedly made through a Facebook conversation.
When the sheriff’s office was alerted to the comments, deputies interviewed Taylor. His residence was searched and deputies confiscated an air soft pistol.
Taylor was charged with inducing panic and receiving stolen property. The latter charge was from an unrelated incident.
Taylor was lodged in the Wood County Justice Center on a $50,000 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in Bowling Green Municipal Court on Monday.
