A donor to Operation Bread Basket may have made an unexpected contribution among the items they donated to the holiday charity project.
A gold wedding band was recently found among toys, hats and gloves donated to the organization, a joint effort by Perrysburg Township and Perrysburg Christians United to provide food and gifts to needy families.
Annie Herman-Alrabaya, an organizer of the yearly event, said the ring, which appears to be a woman's, is a size 6 and has an inscription as well as an imprinted company logo. Anyone claiming the item will be asked to provide information about the ring by calling Herman-Alrabaya at 419-699-5886.
Herman-Alrabaya said it's possible the ring was lost last year, as it was found in a location where some new donations and leftover items were stored. If unclaimed, it may be treated as a donation to the organization, she said.
