Worker at Bowling Green State University are assessing the damage to equipment in the studio of BG24, the
student-run television station following a water pipe break in West Hall.
The pipe broke at about 4 p.m. Tuesday, and was discovered soon after, university spokesman David
Kielmeyer said. The break was “definitely weather related.”
The water got into areas on the first and second floors and the basement of the building.
Those areas have been cleaned up and are ready for students to return for classes on Monday.
University staff are looking at the equipment in the studio on the first floor of West Hall to see what
may have been damaged.
Because of the storm, the campus has been closed since Monday.
