PERRYSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warrant for a man wanted in connection with
scrap metal thefts on Five Point Road.
Joseph A. Rowe, 30, is being sought in the incidents.
Photos taken from video captured of Rowe were posted and shared by the Sheriff’s Office recently via
their Twitter account.
In a press release, the office thanked area media outlets and citizens that used social media “to help
identify the subject captured on camera stealing scrap metal.”
The thefts occurred Jan. 27 and Feb. 1 in the 15000 block of Five Point Road.
Those with knowledge of Rowe’s whereabouts are asked to contact Det. Sgt. Rod Smith at
