United Way in Wood County has moved to a new location at 111 S. Main St. in downtown Bowling Green. The
office’s former address was 1616 E. Wooster St. in Bowling Green.
The new location will provide greater visibility in the community and closer proximity to several member
agencies and community partners.
"We are thrilled to move downtown and are looking forward to becoming a part of the downtown Bowling
Green community. We believe this new location will provide us a great opportunity for community
engagement and will heighten visibility for United Way and our community partners," said Dave
Kubacki, advisory board chair for United Way in Wood County.
Several local businesses are responsible for helping with the move.
"We want to extend a special thanks to Greenbriar, Inc. and Continental Office Environments for
making United Way’s move possible through their generous support," said Kate Sommerfeld, area
director of United Way in Wood County. "Additionally, students from Bowling Green State
University’s Office of Service Learning provided volunteer hours to help the agency move."
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Bowling Green and Bowling Green Mayor Dick Edwards will
welcome United Way in Wood County to its new location with a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 17 at 4
p.m. All members of the community are invited to attend.
