PERRYSBURG - Two teens were injured Monday after an ATV crash on Five Point Road.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that just before 12 p.m. Anthony Bruno, 17, Whitehouse, was driving a dune buggy-style ATV in the 15000 block of Five Point Road, in the eastbound lane and the roadside, when he lost control of the vehicle.
The ATV then traveled off the left side of the road into a ditch and rolled over.
Bruno's passenger, Lydia Gibson, 18, Perrysburg, had her legs trapped by the overturned vehicle. Bruno was able to free her and they exited the vehicle. Both teens were wearing seat belts.
Bruno sustained non-incapacitating injuries, and Gibson sustained incapacitating injuries; both were taken to St. Luke's Hospital by Perrysburg Township EMS.
Bruno was cited for failure to control and failure to register the ATV.
