Two men have been charged with rape of minors by a Wood County grand jury on July 3.
They were among 17 people indicted that day.
Lucas T. Dezanett, 37, of Bradner, is charged with a first-degree felony rape with a victim who was 12 years old when the allegations occurred between Oct. 31, 2010 and Oct. 30, 2011.
The new charge is related to similar charges for which he was previously indicted in June. At that time he was charged with three counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition. The rape charges allege actions with the 12-year-old girl during the same time frame of October 2010 and October 2011. The gross sexual imposition charge involves the same victim on or about Dec. 17, 2006, when she was only eight. The rape charges are all first-degree felonies while the gross sexual imposition is a third-degree offense.
Also charged with rape was Jeremy Boyer, 39, of Ada, for his alleged actions with an 7-year-old beginning in Aug. 30, 2011 through Aug. 29, 2012, after the child had turned 8. The sex of the victim was not identified in the indictment.
