|Two injury accidents in Northwood|

NORTHWOOD - Two minor injury crashes were reported Wednesday and Thursday.
Northwood Police report that on Wednesday at 5:08 p.m., Tyler Milam, Monroe, Idaho, was eastbound on Wales Road near Oregon Road when he slowed to make a left turn into a parking lot. Milam was then struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Amanda Janatowski, Northwood.
Milam sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, by Northwood EMS.
Janatowski reported possible injuries but was not transported.
She was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
On Thursday, just after 6 p.m., Habel Jenson, 8, Northwood, was crossing a parking lot on his bicycle in the 4000 block of Woodville Road, when he was struck by the left rear fender of a vehicle driven by Megan Osenbaugh, Toledo, who was backing out of a parking space.
Habel, sustained a minor wrist injury, but his mother, who was at the scene, declined medical attention. A citation was not issued in the incident.
