Two injured in Sunday night crash in Perrysburg Twp.

PERRYSBURG – Two women remained hospitalized this morning after a two-vehicle crash Sunday at Ohio
795 and Cross Roads Parkway.The crash occurred at 11:05 p.m. when a 2000 Pontiac driven by Pierre Leduc, 20,
Elmore, was westbound on Route 795. Leduc’s vehicle reportedly failed to yield while turning left onto Cross
Roads Parkway and struck a 2013 Chevrolet, driven by a Mandi Sparks, 40, Genoa. Both vehicles sustained
heavy damage and were towed from the scene.Leduc suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was transported
to Toledo Hospital.Sparks and her two other occupants, Jessica Sparks, 17, and Linda Miller, 71, both of
Genoa, were transported to Mercy Saint Vincent’s Hospital for serious but non-life threatening
injuries.Jessica Sparks was listed in critical condition, and Linda Miller was listed in fair condition at
the hospital. Mandi Sparks was not listed as a patient this morning.Vehicle restraints were in use in the
Leduc’s vehicle. However, vehicle restraints were not in use by any of the occupants in the Sparks
vehicle.Assisting at the scene was Rossford Fire and EMS, Rossford Police Department and Perrysburg Police
Department.The crash remains under investigation.
