Two injured in Route 6 crash

Two people were injured in Saturday crashes handled by the Bowling Green Post of the State Highway
Patrol.
At 2:40 p.m., Cyndi Buechler, Bowling Green, was eastbound on U.S. 6 near Wayne Road, when she reportedly
drove off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.
The vehicle rolled over and she reportedly was extricated by mechanical means.
Buechler, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by air ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center,
Toledo, with incapacitating injuries. She was not listed as a patient there this morning.
She was cited for failure to control.
Lights in the area reportedly flickered following the crash.
At 5:09 p.m. Samson Dunmyer, Weston, was southbound on Ohio 65 when he attempted to turn left onto Reitz
Road and struck a northbound vehicle driven by Demarie Dull, Lambertville, Michigan.
Samson sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, by Middleton
Township EMS.
Dunmyer’s passenger, as well as Dull and her passengers, were not injured.
Dunmyer was cited for failure to yield.
