Two hurt in I-75 crash at Rossford PDF Print E-mail

ROSSFORD — Two people were injured late Thursday night when one driver lost control of his car, crossed the median and struck another vehicle on Interstate 75 near milepost 198 in Rossford.
The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol reports that Isaiah Lee Slaughter, 21, of Toledo, driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am northbound went into the southbound lanes and was struck head on by a 2013 Cadillac CTS operated by Lisa M. Herzog, 47, of Perrysburg. The crash occurred at approximately 11:45
Slaughter sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries.  He was transported by Rossford EMS to Toledo Hospital. Herzog sustained minor injuries, and was transported by Northwood EMS to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.  Both subjects were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.  
The southbound lanes of Interstate 75 were closed for approximately 30 minutes.
