Two people were hurt in separate accidents occurring Friday.According to the Wood County Sheriff’s
Office, at 6:55 a.m. Valeri Angles, BG, was eastbound on U.S. 6 at Wapakoneta Road when she reportedly fell
asleep at the wheel and lost control of the vehicle.She then crossed the center line of the roadway and
crashed and rolled into a ditch on the north side.Angles sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken
to Wood County Hospital by Northwest 190 EMS.She was cited for reasonable control.At 8:24 p.m. Maynard
Tefft, North Baltimore, was westbound on Ohio 18 at Interstate 75 when he reportedly struck a stopped
semi-tractor trailer in the back of its trailer. The semi then left the scene.Tefft sustained
non-incapacitating injuries and was treated at the scene by North Baltimore EMS. He was not taken to a
hospital.He was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
