|Two house fires reported in area over weekend|

Two house fires were reported in Wood County over the weekend.
The first was reported just before 7 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 6000 block of McCutcheonville Road, Wayne. The initial call stated that the home was filled with smoke.
A second fire was reported at about 1:45 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Front Street, Cygnet. The initial call also indicated that there was smoke inside of the residence.
Calls placed with the Wayne and Cygnet fire departments seeking additional details were not immediately returned this morning.
