Two hospitalized following crash PDF Print E-mail

WEST MILLGROVE - Two people were seriously injured following a crash Thursday on Ohio 199 and Eagleville Road, approximately two miles southeast of the village.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that at 8:21 a.m. Jeffery Beck, Perrysburg, was driving southeast on Route 199 when he struck a westbound vehicle on Eagleville Road driven by Sandra Kroetz, Fostoria, in the passenger side.
Kroetz had failed to stop at the stop sign at the Route 199 intersection.
Beck was taken to Fostoria Community Hospital by Fostoria EMS with incapacitating injuries. He was later transferred to another hospital, and an update on his condition was not available this morning.
Kroetz was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, by air ambulance, after also sustaining incapacitating injuries. She was listed in critical condition this morning.
A report on the incident was incomplete this morning, and no citations have yet been issued.
