|Two fundraisers planned for Walbridge Centennial|

WALBRIDGE - There are two fundraising events on June 29 to benefit the centennial committee.
Susie's Skillet, 101 S. Main St., will donate 10 percent of meal proceeds from 4 to 8 p.m. for eat in or carry out. Visitors may also participate in special gift and 50/50 raffles. There will be face painting and locals playing music during this time.
A village pub crawl will begin with registration at the Walbridge Nite Club, next door to the Skillet, between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. for a $5 fee. Walbridge memorabilia, including centennial cook books, alumni books (classes of 1911-2012), cup cozies, centennial T-shirts, and memorial bricks for the Loop Park Centennial area as well as souvenir booklets will be on sale. Graffiti shirts will be available for purchase ($10 includes shirt and a Sharpie).
From the Walbridge Nite Club, activities will move to Three Cheers from 9:30 to 11 p.m., and finish up at Nick & Nancy's Tap Room, 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Each bar will have different tournaments and games ($2 per game) to play including: corn hole, pong, shuffleboard, pool, darts and lawn Jenga. Drink specials, a 50/50 raffle and other raffles will be offered. Subway and Vito's are donating food to be sold at the Tap Room.
