Two Crim students report encounter on way to school PDF Print E-mail

At 10:20 a.m. Wednesday Bowling Green Police took a report from two Crim Elementary student about a black male who offered them a ride while they were walking to school.
The students told police the man had short hair, was wearing a black coat and was in his 30s. In his 30s. They said they were approached while walking in the area of the numbered streets about 8 a.m.
According to the students the man walked up to them and asked them where they were going and what street they were on. He then commented how it was cold and asked if they wanted a ride. When they declined and walked away the subject did not follow them.
There was no threat or attempt to make physical contact.
Anyone with any information as to the identity of this person is asked to contact the Bowling Green Police Division.
