Two arrested for assault following concert in BG PDF Print E-mail

Two people were arrested Saturday morning after a concert downtown.
Austin R. Carlile, 25, of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Loniel M. Robinson, 27, of Escondido, Calif., were each arrested for felonious assault after striking a man in the 100 block of North Main Street around 2:50 a.m.
City police officers were called to a fight, which was over when they reached the location, but they found an unconscious man on the sidewalk.
Carlile was taken into custody for striking the man and Robinson was arrested after kicking the victim while he was on the sidewalk. Both men were taken to jail, no bond.
Both men are associated with the band Of Mice and Men, which was in concert at the Clazel Friday night.
Carlile is the lead singer, and Robinson is the drum technician for the band, which is based in southern California. The band canceled Saturday and Sunday shows.
The victim, a 22-year-old Bowling Green man, was taken by EMS to the hospital. His condition was unknown this morning.
