NORTH BALTIMORE – The National Weather Service in Cleveland is confirming that a tornado that hit
Jerry City also struck North Baltimore beforehand.According to a statement issued Wednesday, the tornado
touched down briefly on the northwest side of North Baltimore and moved northeast briefly before lifting and
touching down a second time on the east side of Jerry City.The touchdown in North Baltimore was near Quarry
Road and Liberty Road. It later touched down in Jerry City near Main Street and Huffman Road.A Quarry Road
home was destroyed in the storm, and a home in Jerry City also suffered a partial collapse that injured
multiple occupants.
