International, best-practices contractor organization Success Group International has awarded Tin Man Heating & Cooling of Bowling Green with its "Comeback Company of the Year" award for 2012 at its recent Expo in Las Vegas.
As winners, Tin Man Heating & Cooling also becomes enshrined in SGI's Home Services Hall of Fame.
Only the top 1 percent of residential service contractors are members of SGI. Each year the organization evaluates its membership to identify and recognize the very best of the best based upon a strict list of criteria.
Of the seven awards given for performance in 2012, Tin Man Heating & Cooling was one of the big winners.
"Tin Man Heating & Cooling has come a long way in 2012. It epitomizes the resiliency of small business in this country. Tin Man Heating & Cooling provides exceptional customer service backed by industry-leading guarantees, and it offers a top-of-the-line working environment, in addition to solid benefits and pay for its employees. Owner Jeff Zuhlsdorf has managed to do both while growing the business this past year," Vice President of Success Group International Paul Riddle said.
SGI's "Comeback Company of the Year" award is presented to the company within SGI that has overcome some hardship to have tremendous success within the past calendar year. "Jeff and his team at Tin Man have worked incredibly hard this past year to overcome some hurdles and put the business in a much better position for the future. They should be excited about what's up ahead for them," Riddle continued.
Tin Man Heating & Cooling received a trophy recognizing its accomplishments as well as a ceremony distinguishing its exemplary work during the Las Vegas Expo with over 1,000 fellow member contractors in attendance.
"I was absolutely thrilled to hear we were the winners," Zuhlsdorf said. "We have worked many hours to refine our business to not only be financially successful, but to provide the best services for our clients and the best opportunities for our employees. I think we've done a good job of doing each of those things and have created a solid culture in and around Tin Man; that's what's most important, although the recognition is nice!"
