Three people injured in weekend crashes PDF Print E-mail

Three people were injured in crashes reported by the Wood County Sheriff's Office this weekend.
Friday at 1:07 p.m., Patricia Spitulski, Toledo, driving a 2011 Toyota Camry, was eastbound on Ohio 582 when she entered the intersection with Ohio 64 and was struck by a northbound 2000 Pontiac van driven by Rachel McElwain, Bowling Green.
McElwain's passenger, Florence Worden, Bowling Green, sustained non-incapacitating injuries, and was taken to Wood County Hospital.
Spitulski was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
At 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Samuel Kline, Deshler, driving a 2001 Chevy Malibu, was southbound on Old Ohio 18 in Henry Township when he failed to stop at the stop sign, crashing into a fence and driving through a corn field.
Kline and his passenger, Robert Wright, Hoytville, were both taken to Wood County Hospital.
Kline was cited for OVI and failure to control.
