|Three injured in crashes in a week|

A Weston teen was taken to Wood County Hospital after a crash Tuesday afternoon.
The Wood County Sheriffs' Office reports that at 2:45 p.m. Jordan Hendrix, 17, was northbound in the 11000 block of Weston Road when he crossed the center line, drove off the left side of the road, then drove back onto the road before driving off the left side again and striking a ditch.
Jordan was transported to Wood County Hospital by a vehicle after reporting possible injuries.
On Saturday, two people were injured in an accident on Interstate 475.
Perrysburg Police report that at 1:09 a.m. Frederick Abbott, Grand Rapids, Mich., was soutbound on I-475 near the 2 milemarker when he was struck by a tractor-trailer driven by Johnny Harrow Jr., Delaware, in the rear.
Harrow said that he did not see Abbott's vehicle as he came over the overpass. Abbott had slowed in preparation to exit.
Abbott and his passenger, Carolyn Abbott, Perrysburg, sustained incapacitating injuries and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital by Perrysburg EMS. Both were extricated from their vehicle by mechanical means.
Harrow was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
