According to Wood County Prosecutor Paul Dobson, Jason Hatfield, 15, of Haskins, was charged with burglary after he was found Monday night. The teen was the subject of a search that involved about 40 volunteers after his disappearance Sunday.
Dobson declined to answer many questions due to Hatfield's age. The case will be heard in Wood County's Juvenile Court.
The prosecutor did indicate three other juveniles are also facing charges in relation to the incident which includes Hatfield's disappearance, extensive search and subsequent arrest. Two of those youth are facing charges of criminal trespassing in relation to the same incident which resulted in Hatfield's burglary charge.
Dobson declined to indicate if the teen is in custody and stated he was unsure of his next court appearance.
Hatfield, an Otsego High School freshman, was found in Walbridge Monday evening following his being reported as missing Sunday evening after he was last seen outside Mainstreet Church's youth building within the village.
