The Sundae Stroll – "a 5K with a twist" – in memory of Cheryl Foltz will be held June 14.
The event benefits the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network for pancreatic cancer research.
It will be held beginning at the Sundae Station, 1240 W. Wooster St. Registration will open at 8:30 a.m.

Foltz was diagnosed with the disease in March of 2012, and died in May of that year.
Event organizers noted that each year more than 40,000 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Of those diagnosed, nearly 25,000 will lose their battle within the year.
The Sundae Stroll is $30 per walker, or $15 per walker under 12 years old. The fee includes a T-shirt,
water and snacks, and a sundae at the finish line.

The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle and silent auction, and will begin with a balloon launch. The
Bowling Green State University musical group Ten40 Acapella will also perform.
Individuals may also assist the event in a number of ways, including becoming a sponsor, offering items
for the raffle or auction, donation gift bag items, fundraising, and setting up a cheering section.
