In conjunction with the 11th Annual Classics on Main Auto Show, certain street closings and parking restrictions will be imposed in the downtown on Saturday.
Main Street, between Clay and Pearl streets, will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 5 a.m.
While Main Street is closed, no through traffic will be permitted on Washington, Clough, Court, and Oak streets.  However, Wooster Street will remain open for east and westbound traffic throughout the day.
During the closure, detour routes for local and truck traffic will be posted.  All on-street parking will be prohibited in the closure area.
Additionally, on-street parking will not be allowed on Clay from Main to North Grove Street.
All streets will reopen, and on-street parking will be reinstated, as soon as possible following the event completion.  The Classics on Main event takes place from noon to 4 p.m. Registration opens at  8 a.m.

These Midwest car shows...How about a technology fair, or something more pratical then living in the 1950's for a change? Seriously....

Matt, Matt, Matt. You are partially right, a tech fair would be a great idea. Would you be willing to get involved to make that happen? You can start working on that anytime as I think it would be a great draw for the city. But as to the cars, there are a lot of boomers like myself who have fond memories of dating, drive-ins, cruising the Big Boy and other activities in these cars. So let us have our memories and relive our younger days just a bit longer. After all, you may want to do that yourself when you're older. And Matt, you might want to check your spelling before publishing comments...just a thought from a 1966 HS grad who loves old cars and new technology.
