State Patrol investigating fatal one-car crash near Perrysburg PDF Print E-mail

PERRYSBURG - A Perrysburg man is dead following a traffic crash Thursday at the intersection of Thompson and Five Point roads.
According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, at 12:55 p.m. Harold Stone, 78, was westbound on Five Point Road approaching Thompson Road in a 2001 Lincoln Town Car when he traveled off the left side of the road and struck a concrete culvert. The vehicle then came to rest on its side in the ditch.
Stone was pronounced dead at the scene.
A witness to the crash stated that no other vehicles were involved and that Stone simply drove off the roadway.
The crash remains under investigation.
