Sheriff’s Office handles multiple injury crashes (1-22-14)

Multiple injury crashes were handled by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office over the long holiday weekend.

On Friday at 6:40 a.m., Brittany Anderson, Cuyahoga Falls, was stopped eastbound on Greensburg Pike at
the intersection with Ohio 281. She then pulled into the intersection and struck a northbound vehicle
driven by Mary Lemay, Bradner.
Lemay sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital. Her passenger, Bobbi
Jo Kerr, Bradner, also reported non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to the hospital by Bradner
EMS.
Anderson was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
At 9:17 a.m. Friday, Robert Broz, Portage, was westbound on East Main Street, Portage, when he lost
control after crossing railroad tracks and struck a tree.
He reported possible injuries and was attended at the scene by Central Joint EMS.
He was cited for failure to control.
At 2:37 p.m. Friday, Anthony Harper, Fort Wayne, was westbound on U.S. 6 at Bradner Road when Dusti
Minier, Fremont, westbound on Route 6, crossed the center line and struck Harper. Harper then went off
the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Minier sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was attended at the scene by Bradner EMS. He was not
transported.
He was cited for failure to control.
At 4:15 p.m. Friday, Lola Wilson, North Baltimore, was southeast on Kiel Road approaching the Weston Road
intersection, when Anna Case, Weston, headed southbound, proceeded from a stop sign at Kiel Road and
into Wilson’s path.
Wilson’s passenger, Donna Coleman, North Baltimore, reported possible injuries and transported herself to
Wood County Hospital.
Case was cited for right-of-way at a stop sign.
At 7:18 a.m. on Monday, Rick Coleman, Bradner was southbound on Ohio 25 in the left lane when he drove
into the right lane and struck a vehicle driven by Dina Carrisalez, Perrysburg.
Carrisalez reported non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to the hospital by Mid-County 120 EMS.
Coleman was cited for a marked lanes violation.
