DESHLER - At least one Wood County Sheriff's Deputy assisted in a pursuit that began in Henry County Monday afternoon.
Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn said this morning that Deshler Police were the primary agency in the pursuit, which at one point entered into the southwestern edge of Wood County.
The Wood and Henry County Sheriffs' Offices assisted Deshler Police in the chase.
The male suspect was reportedly stopped just inside Henry County and was taken to the Henry County jail.
Wasylyshyn  indicated the chase was not high-speed - he said that the highest speed a Wood County vehicle achieved during the incident was 71 miles per hour.
A message left with Deshler police seeking additional details was not immediately returned this morning.
