MILLBURY – The Bowling Green post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash
that occurred Tuesday at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Ohio 795 near milepost 9 in Lake Township.
At that time Ricky Buchman, Wayne, driving a semi tractor-trailer, was stopped eastbound at a set of
railroad tracks on Route 795, when Thomas O’Leary III, Cygnet, driving a flatbed wrecker, failed to
maintain assured clear distance ahead, and struck Buchman from behind.
Lake Township EMS transported O’Leary to Saint Charles Hospital, Oregon, for non-life threatening
injuries. Buchman was not injured. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage, and had to be towed from
the scene
Alcohol or drug use is not a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
