Seizure causes BG crash, two taken to hospital PDF Print E-mail

Two people were taken to Wood County Hospital following a Tuesday crash at West Poe and Brim Roads.
Bowling Green Police report that at 9:48 a.m. Kathleen Brose, Bowling Green, was westbound on West Poe at Brim when she suffered a medical seizure and failed to control her vehicle.
The vehicle then drove off the right side of the road, causing the front driver's side to strike a light support pole.
The force of the crash caused the vehicle to rotate 90 degrees and strike a chain link fence.
Brose was transported to the hospital by Bowling Green Fire/EMS with non-incapacitating injuries. Her passenger, Hannah Brose, Bowling Green, also sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was transported by the BGFD.
Kathleen Brose was cited for failure to control.
