Search continues for Wells; death threats made to victim PDF Print E-mail

Bowling Green Police continue to search for a city wanted for assault as well as other charges.
Three warrants have been issued for Lonnie Wells III, 40, after he assaulted his former girlfriend and her acquaintance at a North Main Street bar Wednesday.
The warrants issued for Wells include the charges of felony domestic violence and attempted felonious assault.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office has issued a warrant for Wells for intimidation of a crime victim.
On Thursday, Wells reportedly contacted the victim and stated that he would kill her as well as her acquaintance.
After Wednesday's assault, Wells fled the area and has not been apprehended. He is described as being 5 feet 7 inches, 165 pounds, blond hair and blue eyes.
Wells has been convicted of domestic violence previously for assaulting the same victim.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Wells is asked to contact the Bowling Green Police Division, Wood County Sheriff's Office or your local law enforcement agency.
