PERRYSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s
Office is seeking a man caught on camera stealing scrap metal in the
area in recent weeks.
The agency posted two photos of the man via their Twitter account on Tuesday.
The
subject reportedly stole scrap metal in the 15000 block of Five Point
Road on Jan. 27 and Feb. 1. During the first incident, he used what
appeared to be a dark Ford F-150 truck, and in the second he used a dark
SUV-type vehicle.
In the photos, the man is seen wearing a gray and turquoise hooded sweatshirt and appears to have a
"rope style" beard.
Those who are able to assist in identifying the subject are asked to contact Det. Sgt. Joe Miller at
