Sand-Tastic! Fest at Levis PDF Print E-mail

PERRYSBURG - The Town Center at Levis Commons will present Sand-Tastic! Summer Festival today and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. both days.
The event transforms the shopping center into a beach complete with sand sculptures.
Today from noon to 8 p.m. a team of artists will create four eight-ton sand sculptures and two eight-foot chalk drawings.
At 7 p.m. an amateur sand-sculpting competition will be held. Registration starts at 6 p.m.
A host of activities will be offered on Saturday including balloon twisting and juggling, a celebrity dunk tank, a caricature artist, hot air balloon rides and carriage rides.
The Toledo School for the Arts Steel Drum Band will perform from 5 to 8 p.m.
INSYNC DJ Services will provide music both days, today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
