PEMBERVILLE — Mayor Gordon Bowman will be at the Pemberville Utility Garage (off Sherman Avenue) today from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to provide sandbags to residents who wish to use them.

The village will also provide fill for the bags. The fill is piled outside just south of the salt barn.

Residents will be asked to provide their name, address and number of bags requested. There may be a nominal charge per bag, to be billed later.

Jeff Bourdo, Streets Superintendent, can be contacted any other time during business hours for bags. The village has approximately1,800 bags, and can obtain more within 48 hours.
