Tank's Meats in Elmore is issuing a voluntary recall of products that may be contaminated with Bacillus cereus.
The product subject to recall is Landjaegers produced on or before Jan. 9. The label on each clear bag includes the establishment number "EST. 76" within the Ohio Department of Agriculture's mark of inspection. This product was sold to numerous retail stores in Northwest Ohio.
The recall is the result of Landjaegers product samples collected by the Ohio Department of Agriculture that were found positive for Bacillus cereus.
The samples were collected as part of an investigation after the department was notified of illnesses being reported by the Ottawa County Health Department, who also reported five ill patients who experienced illness onset dates of Dec. 1, 2, 3 and 19 that may have resulted from the Landjaegers product. One patient did test positive for Bacillus cereus.

A city man was arrested early this morning for domestic violence following an incident in which he reportedly resisted arrest.
Bowling Green police were called to the scene, in the 800 block of Klotz Road, at 1:33 a.m.
Maj. Tony Hetrick indicated that the suspect, Jeffrey Kill, 44, was non-compliant and would not allow himself to be handcuffed by officers.
