Rossford seeking volunteers for Ohio Chautauqua visit PDF Print E-mail

ROSSFORD - Volunteers are still needed  to help with Ohio Chautauqua's weeklong visit to Rossford's Veterans Park.
Volunteers are needed to help with parking, traffic, ushering and keeping the grounds clean.  
Volunteer are needed July 9 through July 13 from 5:15 p.m. until the show starts 7:30 p.m.,
A volunteer orientation meeting will be held July 8 at 7 p.m. in Veterans Park. Volunteers will meet the scholars and find out what Chautauqua is all about.  Pizza and pop will be provided at the meeting and volunteers will be given event shirts to wear during their volunteer hours.  
This living history tent show is sponsored by the Ohio Humanities Council in Columbus. The theme is "When Ohio Was the Western Frontier" and the evening shows feature actors portraying historic characters and musical entertainment.
