Rossford Riverfest is hometown celebration PDF Print E-mail

ROSSFORD - The Rossford Business Association (RBA) and the Rossford Recreation Department will host the second annual Rossford Riverfest on Saturday from 4 to 11 p.m.. at Veteran's Memorial Park/Rossford Marina.
Rossford Riverfest includes fireworks, a kids' zone with carnival games and inflatables, and outdoor tournaments hosted by the Rossford Community Recreation Center.
Live music will be provided by Wilson Lake & The Rock Bass from 4 to 6:30 and The Connor Rose Band, starting at 7. There will also be a 21-and-over beer garden, 50/50 raffles, and food by Bialecki's Old Fashioned Ice Cream, Country Lane BBQ, Frank's Fries, Java Sensations, Jeanie's Weenies, and Marco's Pizza. Proceeds from the $1 admission fee for the beer garden will go toward the annual RBA scholarships awarded to local high school students.
"The Rossford Business Association is thrilled to be a part of providing a fun-filled event for the city of Rossford," said Brenda Schwind, RBA president.  "Rossford Riverfest is a chance for us to give back to the community that supports our member businesses."
Major event sponsors are Hollywood Casino, Meijer, Welch Publishing, Genoa Bank, Pilkington Rossford, The Dick DePlumber and Kielbasa Family Foundation, and the Rossford Convention & Visitors Bureau. Numerous other businesses and Rossford residents have also contributed to the fundraising efforts and donations are still being accepted.
Parking is available at Eagle Point Elementary School, with overflow parking at Rossford High School if needed. A shuttle service will be provided, compliments of the Rossford Schools.
