Downtown Perrysburg Inc. will present Rock the Docks at 7 p.m. Saturday following Harrison Rally Day.
This event will feature live music by Velvet Jones, as well as beverages, food and a night filled with dancing and lots of fun until midnight.
"Come join us for a summer send-off celebration in downtown Perrysburg's riverfront down at the public boat docks next to Perrysburg Boat Club," said Rick Thielen, DPI executive director.
Admission is $5 and open to those 21 or older.
Velvet Jones is a northwest Ohio-based cover band providing live entertainment with an wide repertoire of music ranging from modern rock songs, '90s alternative, big '80s retro and '60s and '70s classics with stops at every era of rock in between. Mark West, vocals and guitar, Wasin Haway, vocals and bass, and Tony Pasquinelli, vocals and drums have long contributed to the band's longevity, name recognition and expertise.
Rock the Docks is one of DPI's major annual fundraisers that helps provide the many free family community events such as First Friday, Family Outdoor and Indoor Movie Nights, OctoBOOfest and the Home for the Holidays Parade.
"This is a wonderful and unique opportunity to raise some much-needed funds while at the same time, showcase our community and contribute to the quality of life that makes Perrysburg the best suburban downtown," said DPI President Rob Brunner.
