LIME CITY - Police investigated a road rage incident last week in which one car chased and struck another vehicle intentionally.
The incident was reported March 20 at Roachton Road and Lime City Road. Perrysburg Township police report that an Elmore man was driving behind a slow-moving vehicle east on Roachton, near Thompson Road. The vehicle turned in to a driveway and then attempted to make a northward turn as the man passed, and the Elmore resident honked his horn.
The driver of the suspect vehicle, identified as a female, then turned and chased after the man, striking the back of his vehicle while he was stopped at a stop sign at Lime City Road. The man did not report injury.
The suspect then reportedly made an obscene gesture and shouted obscenities at the man before driving away.
The incident was classified as felonious assault and criminal damaging.
