A Risingsun man was severely burned in a cabin fire Tuesday night near Ironton.
According to a family member, Tim Dean, 26, of Risingsun, was there on a hunting trip with family and friends. The cabin was reported to have no heat and the men were using a portable heater.
Further reports indicated Dean woke up on fire with his brother, Roger, having to drag him out of the burning cabin.
Dean remains hospitalized in intensive care at Cabell Hospital in Huntington, W. Va. with burns over 60 percent of his body. The hospital listed him in serious condition this morning.
