ROSSFORD  - American Red Cross will celebrate its 10th annual Oscar Night Sunday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Owens Community College Center for Fine and Performing Arts.
Guests to this black-tie event will enjoy star-treatment from the moment they walk the red carpet, where they will be greeted by screaming fans and interviewed by Chrys Peterson and Jerry Anderson from Toledo News Now. Guests will dine on upscale hors d'oeuvres generously donated by nearly 30 of Toledo's finest restaurants and dance to the sounds of The Homewreckers and Hepcat Revival.
Participants can also vie for one of 10 movie-themed "presenter baskets" valued at over $500 and including a trip to Las Vegas, football tickets to Ohio State University and University of Michigan, a jacuzzi suite, and other hotel stays.
Proceeds provide critical services and lifesaving training for families and individuals in this community.
Tickets are $100 and can be purchased by calling (419) 329.2573 or visiting redcrosstoledo.org.
