|Public meetings set to elect WSOS board|

Public meetings to elect one low-income representative to the Board of Directors of WSOS Community Action Commission from each of the four primary counties WSOS serves have been scheduled.
Representatives currently serving are eligible for re-election or new representatives may be elected.
The first meeting will be Oct. 9 at 4:30 p.m. at the Fostoria Early Childhood Center, 801 Kirk St., Fostoria. The term of Beverly Hemmerly-Lake expires Dec. 31 and the election will be to fill that seat. Hemmerly-Lake has served on the board since 2005.
On Oct. 14, a meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Jordan Family Development Center, 812 N. College Drive, Bowling Green, to elect a representative from Wood County. This meeting is to fill the expiring term of Carmen Beltran, who has served on the board since 2011.
Ottawa County residents will elect their representative at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 21, at the WSOS Early Childhood Center at 1846 E. Perry St., Port Clinton (the Sutton Center). The election will fill the seat of Ken Priddy, whose term expires Dec. 31. He has served on the board since 2011.
In Sandusky County, the meeting to fill the seat currently held by Crystal Walker will be at 5 p.m. on Oct. 23 at the WSOS Stricker Family Development Center, 765 S. Buchanan St., Fremont. Walker has served since 2012.
